3. MISSION & EVANGELISM

  - The purpose of this department is to preach the word of God to those who have
not been introduced to the Orthodox faith.
  - To develop programs to attract people outside our community to join the faith.
  - To remove obstructions, in order to allow people to enter the faith.
  - To train our own community to be more mission minded.
  - To target people and train them in the field of mission.
  - To assist with resources and finance in order to satisfy the needs and objectives
of this department.
  - To establish welcoming committees in each parish (who are trained) to deal with
different cultural backgrounds
  - To educate and train members of these communities for ministry and ordination
  - Develop a mission training centre
